Aftercare Program
The aftercare program is designed to offer continued support for youth discharged from any Rediscovery program. Rediscovery not only offers this service to any discharged youth who contacts the agency, it also conducts outreach efforts to maintain contact with all former Rediscovery youth. As an additional incentive, Rediscovery provides “half Birthday” stipends (every six months) to all discharged youth who maintain contact with the agency. The purpose of this program is two-fold: to track the ongoing progress made by discharged youth; and to provide continued housing, educational, and vocational assistance as well as other information & referral services when needed.
